Renewal Package
Renewal of Vows
Have you been married for over 5, 10, 15, 20, 25+ years?
Have you ever thought of renewing your vows in a different setting than when you first got married?
Do you attend weddings as a guest and think to yourself, “I wish I could get married again….” Or “I wish I had a wedding coordinator when I got married because I was so stressed on my wedding day…” or “I wish I was able to have beautiful photos like our friends…” or “I wish … “ and fill in the blank.
Maybe you just had a courthouse civil wedding and did not have the budget to have a reception… but now you do?
Maybe you eloped or went to Las Vegas to get married and would like to have a church wedding and sit-down reception with family and friends?
In all honesty, renewal of vows are hard to come by. They are VERY special because many marriages do not last beyond the 10 year mark, even less…
So, if you are going on your 10, 15 or 20 year anniversary, and you would like to have a big celebration, “Ah…New Beginnings” is here to help you.
Maybe this wasn’t you … YOU DREAM IT. WE PLAN IT. YOU ENJOY IT. … years ago. But it can be you now.
For me, I will find any reason to get married again to my husband! Why not? Dress up in another beautiful dress and have fun eating and dancing with family and friends…
We had a church wedding in San Francisco and sit-down dinner at a Burlingame hotel on November 5, 1994 for ~450 people. It rained 6 inches that day in San Francisco. We didn’t get to any outdoor photos. We picked this date because it was the day we met 11 years prior, as piano students at a piano recital. I was 13, and he was 14.
We renewed our vows 10 years later on a Friday evening at a South San Francisco venue with 150 guests, on November 5, 2004. Many of our wedding party were able to be at our anniversary celebration. It was special to have our nieces, nephews and our 2 children join the ceremony.
November 5, 2011 will be our 17th wedding anniversary. We were just in Boracay, Philippines last Christmas and we fell in love with the white sand beach (well, it was really off white). We have plans to renew our vows there a little past our 20th anniversary in January 2015. For the family and friends who live in Philippines who could not attend our wedding in 1994, we will go there and have a small beach ceremony wedding and reception in Boracay, then a bigger sit-down reception at one of Makati’s beautiful hotels. But what is even more special is that some family and friends are starting to save money now to try and join us for this occasion!
So, think about it. Maybe you’d like to be a bride again and re-marry your husband. Your children can be part of your wedding party. Have all of your original wedding party there and take reunion pictures during the event. Hire wonderful vendors to make it beautiful, memorable and stress-free. The ideas are endless!
