There are so many wedding registries out there, right? Which one should you use? Register online or at the store?

Nowadays, you can do both. Using that scanner at the store is a lot of fun… but if you don’t have the time, clicking on items online can be just as fun!

I remember when I registered for my 1994 wedding at Crate and Barrel and Macy’s. There weren’t too many choices out there.

Now, the list is endless.

So, how do you decide?

  • Ask yourself and your fiancé, what do we really need? Kitchenware, bathroom rugs, bed sheets? Where can we buy them? What brands and what stores carry them?
  • Maybe you already have everything for the home… but you need money for the honeymoon? Or just cash to pay for the wedding expenses?

The Knot has a great registry checklist and an all in one registry.

Here are a few suggested registries that I have been recommending to clients. There are more out there, but these are the ones that I like…

Registries online:

1. Amazon

2. Zola (wedding gifts & honeymoon registry)

3. Honeyfund (honeymoon registry)

Store registries (that also have an online presence):

1. Macy’s

2. Bed, Bath & Beyond

3. Crate and Barrel
